Main advantage of graphite material compared to metallic material is the true multipurpose ability of our grades. Our graphite are not sensitive to fluorides, chlorides or even oxydative media with our grades GT FLON, GT OXY FLON & GT SIC.

GT grades have extremely wide corrosive resistance to most chemical media.
Most of traditional graphites, use big grain graphite, impregnated with phenolic resin which is sensitive to some solvent like methanol as an example. Solvent will create a swelling effect in the resin which will generate mechanical stress in graphite and result in earlier failure.

GT grades has not such issues and can withstand all known solvent at high temperature. For applications requesting clean processes, GT has solutions with cleaning treatment on materials. Food grade materials tested with migration tests for graphite and gaskets are possible.
Erosion or particle released by flowing media is not a concern in our equipment.
